Use this guide to activate your Educational license on multiple classroom or lab computers.
Important — Which license type do you have?
License string (long block of text): follow the steps on this page.
License file: use this article instead → https://support.cncsimulator.com/support/solutions/articles/12000040633
Before you start
Make sure you have the latest CNC Simulator Pro installer.
Confirm you’re online (the simulator needs Internet access over HTTP port 80 to activate and run).
Have your license string ready (provided after purchase).
Activate on each computer (license string)
Install the latest version from our download page.
Start CNC Simulator Pro.
If it opens normally: go to Help → Activate License.
If your previous license has expired and you can’t reach the menus: a dialog will appear at startup asking to open Settings — click Yes.
Paste the entire license string exactly as provided into the License string field. Click Apply.
Restart the program.
Repeat on all computers covered by your license.
The activation applies to that specific PC. If you need to move seats between machines later, contact support.
Tips for labs/classrooms
Consistent image: If you clone system images, activate after imaging on each machine (don’t capture an already-activated image).
Keep versions aligned: Use the same simulator version across all seats for predictable behavior in class.
Network readiness: Ensure outbound HTTP (port 80) is allowed to our services; proxies/content filters should permit the app.
